CreatorHub ("we," "us," or "our") operates the CreatorHub mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
- Account Information: Name, email address, password, phone number, profile photo, and user role (creator or client).
- Creator Profile Data: Business name, specialty/category, bio, hourly and day rates, service packages, portfolio images and videos, and available dates.
- Client Profile Data: Name, bio, location, and project details including budgets and descriptions.
- Payment Information: Payment card details and banking information are collected and processed directly by our payment processor, Stripe, Inc. We do not store your full card numbers on our servers. We retain Stripe customer identifiers and transaction records.
- Communications: Messages exchanged between users through the App's messaging feature, including text and any shared media.
- Reviews and Ratings: Written reviews, star ratings, and associated photos you submit about bookings.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers for push notifications.
- Location Data: With your permission, we collect precise GPS location and coarse location (city-level) to show nearby creators and auto-fill your city in your profile. You can disable location services at any time through your device settings.
- Usage Data: App session information, features accessed, search queries, and interaction patterns to improve the App experience.
- Crash and Performance Data: Diagnostic data to identify and fix technical issues.
1.3 Information from Third-Party Services
- Apple Sign In: If you sign in with Apple, we receive your name and email address (or an Apple relay email) as authorized by you.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and manage your account
- Facilitate bookings between clients and creators
- Process payments and payouts through Stripe
- Display creator profiles and portfolios to potential clients
- Enable in-app messaging between users
- Send push notifications about bookings, messages, deliveries, and account activity
- Show relevant creators based on your location and preferences
- Provide customer support
- Send transactional emails (booking confirmations, payment receipts, cancellation notices)
- Improve and optimize the App's features and performance
- Detect and prevent fraud or abuse
- Comply with legal obligations
3. How We Share Your Information
We share your information in the following circumstances:

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for cross-app tracking or advertising.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on secure cloud servers provided by Google Firebase (Google Cloud Platform). We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including:
- Encryption of data in transit (TLS/SSL)
- Firebase Security Rules restricting data access
- Secure authentication via Firebase Authentication and Apple Sign In
- Payment data handled exclusively by PCI-DSS compliant Stripe
While we strive to protect your information, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Specifically:
- Account data: Retained until you delete your account
- Booking and transaction records: Retained for 7 years for legal and tax compliance
- Messages: Retained until deleted by users or account deletion
- Analytics data: Aggregated and anonymized after 14 months
6. Your Rights and Choices
6.1 Account Controls
- Edit Profile: Update your personal information at any time through the App
- Delete Account: Permanently delete your account and associated data through Profile > Account Settings > Delete Account
- Notification Preferences: Control push notification types in the App's notification settings
6.2 Device Permissions
You can revoke the following permissions at any time through your device's Settings app:
- Location: Used to find nearby creators
- Camera: Used for identity verification during payment setup
- Photos: Used to upload profile photos and portfolio images
- Microphone: Used to record audio for video content
- Notifications: Used to alert you about bookings, messages, and deliveries
- Calendar: Used to add bookings to your device calendar
6.3 Privacy Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Data portability

7. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for children under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we learn we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will delete that information promptly.
8. International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own, including the United States, where our service providers (Google, Stripe, Mux) maintain servers. By using the App, you consent to such transfers.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy in the App or by sending a push notification. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
